Throughout its history, MS Architecture has been deeply involved with living space. We have designed large scale apartments and condominiums as well as custom homes. With the ever-changing housing markets, we have provided timely, market-driven designs that have always met our clients budget.
It has also been our experience to Master Plan large communities that will integrate into local communities. Through the years we have developed a great working relationship with local City & County Planners. This experience avoids delays with the entitlement process and keeps our projects on schedule. We also understand the need to provide the highest and best use for each property. We provide extensive research and integrate our findings into the design.
Over the years, Mark Sandberg has been the General Contractor on many residential projects he has designed. Because of this background, he can provide complete Construction Management services for his projects.
Commercial
Our Commercial Architectural designs include retail centers, restaurants, hotels, and offices. We have also renovated many commercial properties. Because of our wide knowledge base in Commercial design, we offer a more comprehensive list of services including master planning and construction management.
All commercial designs require a complete program analysis of our client’s needs. Before starting any design, we will meet with the project team and analyze the site conditions, client needs, budget, and Zoning requirements. This program will then be integrated into a project schedule. By developing a program and schedule, we keep the project constantly on budget and moving forward on schedule.
Because many of our commercial projects are on a difficult budget and schedule, it is critical to keep a tight control on the construction. Many projects flounder because some clients do not know how to manage the construction process. Because of our background in construction, we can provide complete project management services.
Educational
Our firm has provided educational design, planning, and project management services for the Clark County School district, the College of Southern Nevada, and the University of Nevada. We have been a part of the rapid expansion of the school system in Nevada for 30 years.
We have had the honor of providing award winning designs for our schools. In 2003 we received the CEFPI Monarch Regional Design Award and in 2004 we received the NSSEA Learning Environments Award. These awards recognize our commitment to designing an environment that supports the education of our next generation.
Mr. Sandberg has also been involved in the master planning of three campuses for the College of Southern Nevada. He helped develop the program analysis for each campus and was also a part of the Architectural selection process.
Construction Management
Mr. Sandberg has been involved in construction for over 40 years. He has been licensed as a General Contractor in Utah, Nevada, and California. Although his contractor’s licenses are now inactive, he has become one of the foremost experts on construction processes, procedures, and scheduling. He has provided construction management for projects over $40,000,000 and provide constructability reviews for other projects.
Mark manages with a team approach. During construction it is critical that all stake holders for a project maintain constant communication. He will require weekly site meetings and inspections with everyone involved. He will review all communications and payment applications in a timely manner to keep the project on schedule and on budget.
